I grew up 3 houses down from Jeff and our families where very close. From 3rd grade until graduation, Jeff and I spent much of our lives together. He was a great friend and I still think of him often. My mother and Jeff's twin sisters, Janet and Jill still stay in contact. Jeff's father Fred, worked with and was one of my father's best friends as well. Once I left town for school and the military, we lost touch, but after I returned from overseas, Jeff and his wife Carol(Ross,LC '71) became close with me and my wife. In time,we lost touch again but my mom would always make sure to keep me posted on Jeff and his whereabouts. I was startled to learn of his passing, poor health I believe. I'm sure our reunion will remind me of our great times together, and Jeff will be missed.
I remember spending alot of time at Jeff's house. I lived just down the street behind Jeff and Scott. Remember the morning, Scott, when we were goofing around in the family room, play fighting and I accidently hit Jeff in the nose. We all got quite a laugh out of that a few hours later.
It brings back good memories of the neighborhood we grew up in. Fun to consider everything that happened then. Thanks for the memories Jeff.
