Our Kathy died unexpectedly on September 18, 2024, in Colorado Springs, CO, of complications following single bypass surgery.   Kathy loved our class and attended every reunion.  To we who knew her, she was all love and laughter.  A joyful soul.  She lived a wonderful life.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, our classmate, Richard I. Pohlman, Jr. (Rick), her wonderful children Shannon (Brett) Lakes and Richard I. Pohlman III (Rich) (Ingrid Andersson), her adored grandchildren, Caitlyn and Mia Lakes and Blue and Jesse Pohlman, and her ever faithful companion (good boy) Finn.

Kathy was born and lived in Indianapolis until September 2023 when she and Rick moved to Monument, CO to be closer to their daughter and her family.
