School Story:
I was pretty quiet in school; I did enjoy being in choir and doing anything with gymnastics. That was the highlight of my highschool years...oh, and trying out for cheerleading! I really wanted to be a cheerleader but I also knew it would be hard on my singing voice. I made the top 10 and lots of new friends ...that was good enough for me! I loved performing for any musical or gymnastics event. I dreamed of singing "The Lord's Prayer" at our Baccaulaureate service before graduating. My older sister sang it when she graduated 8 years earlier and I hoped to sing it as well. I didn't think I had a chance, but, I DID get asked to sing it! It was supposed to be a surprise when it was announced over the morning announcements. I had to fake it two different times as I had been told by Bob ... (rats! can't remember his last name! ) And a faculty member. I was truly surprised when Bob told me! Had to fake it when my homeroom teacher told me and then when it was announced that morning! ha! It was an honor and a great memory to sing for my class!
